Doral United
(DUSC) Soccer Academy
that was founded in
2008 by former professional players,
local
business representa
tives as well as parents-volunteers
of the community of Doral.
DUSC has developed a unique and innovative program to introduce soccer to our youngest players, 5-8 years old. This program, called the Doral Youth Developmental Program (DYDP), combine in a fun and positive environment and the excitement of league play through self-organized leagues and small-sided .

As part of this program, a set of well thought-out practice sessions are conducted to assist children in the fundamentals of soccer techniques through fun and then put these newly learned skills to use by playing small-sided . The program operates under the simple belief that kids learn by playing. Thus, everyone plays in virtually 100% of the time in
both and practices. It is DUSC's goal that by creating a developm
entally appropriate and fun-filled environment, children can be provided with the to enjoy the game of soccer for many years to come.
DUSC also believes that by creating a family oriented environment, youth members
will understand the importance
of maintaining a harmony between the mind and the body. DUSC are offered to youth members from the ages of 4 through 18.
DUSC works closely with the community therefore, 10-20%
of our members are eligible to receive a program - equivalent to 100% of the annual and monthly fees.

The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) was established in the Los Angeles
area in 1964 with nine teams. It was the dream
of a group of devoted soccer enthusiasts who started the organization in a garage.
Today, AYSO has more than 50,000 teams and more
than 650,000 players. It also employs 50
people at its National Support and Training Center in Hawthorne, California.
Over the years, AYSO has created many valuable programs and concepts. Most
notably, AYSO revolutionized youth sports with its "Everyone Plays" and "Balanced Teams" philosophies. In AYSO, each child who registers is guaranteed to play at
least half of every game. To help create evenly matched games, all AYSO players
are placed on new or "balanced" teams each year. These decisions are made based
on each player's skill level and the overall ability of the team.
Since its establishment, AYSO has continued to grow and offer its membership relevant programs.
In 1971, two San Fernando Valley residents developed AYSO's first girls program. Today, a corporate sponsor has joined with AYSO as
the organization's first official sponsor of its national girl's initiative. Currently, 40 percent of AYSO's players are girls.
In the mid 70s, an AYSO coach chartered new territory as he welcomed the organization's first player with Down Syndrome. As a result of this landmark union, soccer was introduced into the Special Olympics. Today, AYSO offers its membership the Very Important Player (VIP) program for kids with special needs. VIP boasts 75 programs and 1,500 players.
In 1995, two AYSO parents established the first AYSO program in Moscow. Today, AYSO programs exists in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, and interest continues from Americans abroad looking to bring the values and philosophies of AYSO to expatriates and local communities alike.
At FYSA, we provide a fun, safe and healthy game for kids of all shapes and sizes. We provide programs for children who want to play for 1 season or 20 and for children who want to play strictly for fun or compete at the highest level possible. Kids have different physical, social and psychological needs and at different times in their lives.
FYSA recognizes these needs. Therefore, our programs are aimed at meeting the different needs of ALL KIDS.
FYSA provides a healthy activity through its recreational and small-sided games programs. These programs emphasize FUN and de-emphasize winning at all costs. Every child is guaranteed playing
time, and the game is taught in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere.
For the players with advanced skills and greater ambition, highly competitive leagues are offered. These players might have their sights set on a college soccer scholarship or playing for the U. S. Olympic or National teams.
FYSA is one of the larger member organizations of the United Stated Youth Soccer (USYS). USYS is a nationwide body of
over 600,000 volunteers and administrators, and over 300,000 dedicated coaches, most of who also are volunteers.
USYS registers over 3,000,000 youth players between the ages of 4 and 19. USYS is made up of 55 member State Associations; one in
each state, and two in California, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.
From its humble beginnings in 1974 with just under 2,500 registered players to its current registration of more than 100,000, FYSA has been recognized as a leader in youth sports organizations in Florida.
Through a democratic structure, the membership of FYSA is able to provide uniform rules and guidelines. These guidelines facilitate intra-state, inter-state and international play. FYSA is also able to provide a structured app
eals process, and its marketing and licensing programs help FYSA
hold down player costs while providing revenue for increased services.
