Our Journey There

The DUSC Mission:

The objective of the Doral United Soccer Club (DUSC) is to provide a wholesome, well-organized environment in which to teach soccer skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship, as well as to contribute to the general health and social well-being of all participants, including those with special needs.

To provide opportunities for kids of all ages and skill levels, our soccer program is divided into four categories:

1. Little Kickers Program

2. Recreational Program

3. Travel Program

4. VIC (Very Important Children) Program

The Little KickersProgram is designed specifically for the very young player – 3 and 4 year olds (and pre-Kindergarden). The philosophy of our program can be summed up in three words - FUN, FUN, FUN! We have created a safe and positive environment where kids can learn the game of soccer through playful training techniques and team bonding activities. Our goal is to provide a non-threatening fun environment where very young players can begin to be comfortable running with a ball; comfortable with some ‘team’ games using a soccer ball, and have fun, building an early interest in playing soccer.

The Recreational Program is designed for those players who do not have either the skills or the interest i n playing soccer at a highly competitive level. The Travel Program is for those kids who have sufficient skill and interest to play the game at higher levels. In either case, DUSC is committed to making the effort of providing Doral with a soccer program that everyone associated with it can feel proud to be a part of. This program is divided into several age group/divisions. Whenever there are enough participants, there will be a boys, girls and a coed division for each age group starting at U-7 depending on the amount of participants per team . The teams will be entered into a local league and/or tournaments accordingly. In any age group where there are too few players registered to form a team, the Director of Coaches and the Board may combine two or more age groups to form a single team in order to compete.

The Travel Program, the emphasis is on team success and developing individual skill to the highest possible level. Travel teams are formed only when there is adequate talent within an age group to support such a team without a significant adverse impact on the Recreational Program. DUSC is registered with the Florida United Youth Soccer Association (SFUYSA), Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA), the Florida United Girls Soccer Association (FLUGSA), and the Hollywood Soccer League (HSL).

The VIC (Very Important Children) Program. Without a doubt, at DUSC, we are excited about the development and implementation of a very special program designed exclusively for the physically challenged kids, so that each of them can enjoy the sport with peers of similar conditions, and in effect, be part of the soccer community within city.
